Lessons from GIS and SocietyGIS

About this session

From a history-of-science perspective, this session traces the formation of Critical GIS and the debates and dialogues between GIS researchers and critical geographers. We consider how these exchanges reshaped research questions, methods, and practice, and ask how this tradition can inform geography’s participation in shaping Critical GeoAI today.

Questions for discussion
